Felt So Good!

Ya know how the other week I was trying to figure out what to do with my new-found weekend? Boy was I ever productive. I finished my October Card of the Month and sent it. I made my ATC and sent it. AND I sent those Thank You cards that I should have put in the mail ages ago. I'm certainly doing my part to keep the U.S. Postal Service in business.

So what's on the calender this week for you? I kinda think you could participate in the Gift Tag contest. Or maybe stop by and see us at the San Jose, Original Rubber Stamp Convention? Or how about trying a couple other projects shown here? Either way, sounds like it's going to be a fun weekend!

Club Posh Gift Tags 2011

Gift Tag Contest - Enter by October 28th

With a little chill in the air and autumn here, are you ready to make your holiday projects? How about starting with something small—like gift tags? And just for fun, post your Gift Tag at Club Posh to enter the October Gift Tag contest. The winner (picked at random) will receive a $20 gift certificate from JudiKins. Upload a scan or photo of one hand made gift tag by October 28th to be eligible. The only rule is you use a JudiKins or Posh Impressions rubber stamp on the tag.

Calm before the Storm - Original Rubber Stamp Convention
San Jose, CA - Sunday Oct 23

Ahhh, in just a few days—a wonderful quiet Sunday morning—no way Jose!! Well not in San Jose, California. This weekend on Sunday at 9 a.m. the Original Rubber Stamp Convention will be buzzing with a line at the door, heat tools heating, stamp pads stamping and JudiKins showing you just how easy it is to make any of the fabulous JudiKins sample cards on exhibit.

The Original Rubber Stamp Convention will be this SUNDAY, OCTOBER 23, 2011 from 9 am to 4 pm. As always, new cards, new stamps and tons of fun.

Just when this little kitty thought it was safe to walk through these trees, he's surprised by this ghosty ghost. And you'll be surprised too at how easy this card is to make—you only need Mica Gloss, pigment Ink, embossing powder and a paint brush.

Pink and Inked Thank You Card

One can never have enough Thank You cards and this one was a cinch. You know how we've talked about mixing Mica Gloss™ colors in many of our instructions for cards in the past. This card is a little different—we've used the same method of mixing Mica Gloss™ colors (in this case Old Gold, New Penny, and Pearl) with a splash of Marvy dye based ink in Pink. Would you believe this card was made with the 'waste' cardstock that I used to clean off the brayer and a paper towel? Click below for instructions.
